As most of you know by now it's my sisters' two years today...
I remember the day two years ago so clearly as if it was yesterday...
Ruby Lynn and our friends went to Tahoe for a snowboarding trip.
I wake up at 6am at my friends' house feeling like something was missing.
An hour later I get a call from my friend Benny who's with my sister in Tahoe.
Says my sister needs to go to the hospital... I'm thinking it's only
food poisoning...
30min later my mom call's and tells me to go to Alamo about an hour away from where I was.
I get there and I stay with Ryelee Shae (Ruby Lynn's daughter).
All I can hear is my mom's phone going off every 30min... It's the Doctor.
By 2 o'clock pm, my mom, dad, Ryelee Shae and I get into the car
and I jet... I'm going over 100mph, I'm on a mission...
A mission to see my sister.
After numerous calls from the Doctor...
30min before we get to Reno Hospital, we get the bad news...
Everything after that seemed like nothing mattered anymore...
My mind was blank, my heart crushed and my body was weak...
I didn't know how to feel... Only emptiness and sadness.
That was two years ago...
Today, I still have moments where I feel that emptiness...
There's not a day that passes by where I don't think of her...
I miss her...
